I’ve noticed a persevering problem so many of us share, which if changed would break damaging cycles. While it is the cause of so many other problems that extend outwards, I’ve noticed we still hold onto it. And we do so even when we become aware that if that string was pulled, the knot would come undone. I’m talking about negativity.
Sometimes we know that something is wrong or at least, we know that often things are going wrong and we don’t feel happy. Of course not! Why should you feel happy when things are going wrong? Maybe right now, things suck and there’s no reason to feel good. So why bother asking ourselves, even rhetorically “ Why should I feel happy?”. Well my dear reader, this is the problem. This is the problem so many of us have and hold onto. It’s two fold or perhaps one leads to the other. Negative thinking and assuming powerlessness.
